Small Business Saturdays – an online broadcast hosted by Aaron Montgomery – has launched a free five-part video series designed to empower small businesses owners and help them develop their own business plans using the latest expert marketing techniques. The five free videos are now available at: aaronmontgomery.info/businessplan and come with a chance to win an Echo Dot.
Designed to simplify marketing techniques and explain jargon, the videos are also designed to spark conversation among small enterprises. As each topic is explained, viewers are encouraged to chime in, ask questions and give feedback during the live 30 minute broadcast, or after the video has been published online.
Founder of MontCo Consulting, Mr. Montgomery said he was motivated to create the video series to support small business owners.
“There’s a misconception that marketing techniques are for the big corporates: all the acronyms and corporate-speak can be overwhelming. The reality is, many small business owners are stretched thin, responsible for everything from managing cash flow and budgets to taking out the trash at the end of the day. They don’t have time to research these strategies.
“Small Business Saturdays is here to break down the terminology used by the experts, explain the latest and greatest ways to market your business, and help owners to understand and successfully market their product or service,” Mr. Montgomery said.
Each video is completely free, and comes with a homework assignment for the viewer to complete and submit. The submitted homework is returned with suggestions, comments and supporting documents and details to help the viewer further develop their business plan.
Any participant who completes all five homework assignments before December 31, 2018 will be entered in a random draw to win an Echo Dot.
