5 Keys of Marketing

Day #1 (9/18/23) – Define Your Customer: Let’s kick things off by getting to know your IDEAL customer. We’re not just talking about who they are, but what they love, what they need, and what makes them tick. This isn’t about casting a wide net; it’s about precision. By understanding your customer to a T, you’ll be able to craft messages that hit home, find them where they hang out, and save yourself a bunch of time and money in the process.

Day #2 (9/19/23) – Define Your Brand: Day two is all about your brand, and no, we’re not just talking about picking out pretty colors or fancy fonts. Your brand is your company’s heart and soul. It’s your core values, your unique personality, and how the world sees you. We’ll help you dig deep and define your brand in a way that resonates with your ideal customers.

Day #3 (9/20/23) – Pick Your Path: Alright, now that we’ve got a clear picture of your customer and your brand, it’s time to figure out the best way to bring them together. There’s no one-size-fits-all marketing strategy, so we’ll explore different platforms and approaches to find the one that fits your business like a glove.

Day #4 (9/21/23) – Set your Plan: With all the groundwork laid, it’s time to put the pieces together and draft a killer marketing plan. We’ll look at key dates and events that can drive customers your way and help you map out a strategy that keeps your business buzzing all year round.

Day #5 (9/22/23) – Implement and Evaluate: Last but not least, it’s time to roll up our sleeves and get to work. We’ll equip you with the tools and resources you need to put your plan into action. But remember, a plan is only as good as its execution and the lessons learned along the way. We’ll show you how to track your progress, make tweaks on the fly, and stay ready to pivot or seize new opportunities as they come.

Delivering Feedback

At 40 plus years old, the memories I have from my days in high school have become more nostalgic and faded. There are many life lessons I learned during that time period of my life, some that I still use today, such as something I learned at a D.A.R.E. Program in our high school gym.

Back in the late 80s and early 90s, the D.A.R.E. program brought police officers to tell us, kids, in school the danger of drugs. I was a pretty straight-laced goofy kid and too scared to try any type of drug, so this program didn’t really speak to me. BUT there was one thing that they said during the program that I still use today, the Sandwich Method. This is a great tool to deliver feedback or any type of perceived negative communication.

How Do Transactional Emails Read to Your Customers

How Do Transactional Emails Read to Your Customers

I had a Small Business Saturdays episode about Transactional Emails and their importance in your overall marketing scheme. After all, these are the most opened emails of any that a business sends! So why not get some marketing juice out of them and serve the purpose of delivering the order receipt, communicating tracking details, or working with a customer on art and proofs.
